High Impact Leadership

About the High Impact Leadership Course

High Impact LeadershipHigh Impact Leadership is an intensive 3 day adult leadership course focused on personal leadership development and the development of leadership in the students/people the participants serve. This course is a must for any administrator, coach, advisor, educator, or other professional working with young adults.

Course participants begin the experience learning about their own leadership style and how to move forward on their own personal leadership journey. They will also spend time learning the tools to lead and how to develop the leadership potential in those they serve and work collaboratively with in their own environments. The final day focuses on blending the two, incorporating 21st Century Skills, and establishing a network of professionals to continue on in their pursuits.

Participants will leave with a plethora of resources and materials and gain valuable ideas for their own leadership journey as well as for their schools/businesses own vitality and culture. Participants are also able to earn up to 3 graduate credits and meet individual PDP requirements with this course.

Leadership Camp (High School)

Whether you’re involved in student council, the national honor society, the drama club, a sports team, the school musical, cheerleading, or your local FFA — our camp program is for you! In fact, our camp programs are for anyone who wants to improve their leadership skills!

What’s Different This Year…

In 2013, our Summer Camp programs have been renamed to more accurately reflect the curriculum and to aid students in choosing the right summer camp program for them. We have three camps for Junior & Middle School (JAM) students and three camps for Senior High School (SHS) students.

  • JAM Camps: Levels 1, 2 & 3 — July 21-25, 2013
  • SHS Camps: Levels 4, 5 & 6 — July 14-18, 2013

Our 2013 Camps

Sign up for one summer — or prepare to attend the entire multi-year series. We believe that every moment spent with WASC is a good one. Our time-tested curriculum has been developed by certified educators, and has made a positive impact in the lives of over 100,000+ of Wisconsin’s students.

Included in Every Camp

For five days, students will be led by education professionals in activities dedicated to understanding what it means to be a leader. With proven curriculum as the foundation, and unparalleled talent leading each camp, delegates agree that this program is “the most significant learning experience in my life to-date!”

  • Banquet: The delegates get dressed up for this special affair, where they dine in their finery while listening to inspiring speeches by their fellow delegates.
  • Speaking Opportunities: There are numerous opportunities for students to work on their presentation skills — and one evening where individuals from each group are asked to address the entire delegation.
  • Picnic: An outdoor event that includes games, food, and fun. A great way to connect with new friends at the mid-point of the week.
  • Recreation: Recreation opportunities vary by camp, but include swimming, volleyball, tennis, running clubs, socializing and more!
  • Dance: A high-point of the week. Whether the delegates decide to dance with their new friends, or enjoy other activities, it’s a great time to celebrate.
  • Evening Closings: Each day ends with inspiring stories and songs — lead by adult and junior counselors. The perfect way to end a day.
