Introducing the Region III SHS Vice President
Hello fellow leaders, my name is Grant Newsome. I am 17 years old and a junior at Oconto Falls High School. I am the SHS vice-president for region III and also the vice president for my schools council. Having the opportunity to be a part of WASC has changed my life in many ways. I have met so many great friends from being involved in this organization, and my life wouldn’t be the same without it. I would like to thank you for electing me into this position and I hope I can continue to show you my dedication to the amazing WASC organization.
I’m involved in more than just the WASC. Like I said before I am the vice-president of my school’s council. Also I’m an FBLA officer, and I have been class president for the three years I have been in high school. I am also in NHS, cross country, and track. Student Council is a huge part of my life and I plan on applying the knowledge that I have learned from council and WASC into my future.
During my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I also enjoy swimming, biking, working, and sleeping. I also spend a lot of my time working on student council and FBLA projects for my school. I am very enthusiastic and dedicated to the organizations that I am involved in. I have been involved in student council for 5 years now and this is currently my second year as a regional student council officer. I hope to continue my work with the WASC in my final year of high school, with my goal of being elected as Region III SHS president.
Thank you once again for giving me this opportunity to work with this wonderful organization.
