Winners Announced: Spirit of Excellence

The “WASC Spirit of Excellence Award” Recipients have been chosen for 2012-13!!
Schools across Wisconsin competed for a title more prestigious than any other celebrated: “The Spirit of Excellence Award” – an award honoring schools for achieving excellence in leadership, sportsmanship, spirit, and service to their school and communities. True champions in their region and in our state. Schools across the state submitted a detailed portfolio highlighting their achievements in various venues, including leadership, service, lowering the achievement gap, etc. This portfolio was judged by a team of leaders from Wisconsin.
SHS Recipients:
- Region 1 & State Recipient: St. Croix Falls High School
- Region 2: Medford Area Senior High School
- Region 3: Oconto Falls High School
- Region 4: Hamilton High School
- Region 5: Waunakee Community High School
- Region 6: Adams-Friendship High School
JAM Recipients:
- State Recipient: Bay View Middle School
- Runner-up: Medford Area Middle School
Recognition for this award include banners for the recipients, an awards presentation at half-time of the Mar. 17th Milwaukee Bucks Game, an all school assembly for the state recipients, and an awards presentation at the WASC State JAM and SHS Conferences in Green Bay. Congratulations to ALL of our participating schools!
