Membership

The Wisconsin Association of School Councils (WASC) is a non-profit organization dedicated the creation of student leadership opportunities in Wisconsin. The WASC was the first state-wide student leadership association in the nation and, over 86 years later, it remains one of the largest and most active student leadership organizations in the country. 

The WASC offers student leadership programs that are nationally renowned as some of the best in the United States. Membership in WASC provides you and your school with an abundance of benefits, whether you are elementary, middle level, and high school students, advisors, administrators, or parents.

Membership is the life of our organization and we pride ourselves on offering great values for our members.

BASIC LEVEL: $100

  • Program Discounts: Members' only discounts to all programs for 2022-23 school year. 
  • Monthly News Notes: Members' only monthly newsletter with resources, organizational information, and updates. 
  • Monthly Advisor Checklist: Members’ only monthly checklist sent to advisors with tips, resources, and ideas for each month.
  • Weekly Leadership360: Weekly leadership video made with student voices, designed to help your students grow.
  • Eligible for Annual Discount: For each consecutive year of WASC membership, enjoy a 10% off membership fees. This discount compounds each year. 

PLUS LEVEL: $200

  • All BASIC LEVEL perks. 
  • 100% of school fees waived for all '22-23 events.

LAMBEAU LEVEL: $300

  • All BASIC LEVEL perks. 
  • All PLUS LEVEL perks. 
  • Reserved seats at State '23: Ensure at LEAST 8 spots at State Conference ‘23 or the same number of spots for the total number from State ‘22. (This year only!)
  • Add'l $100 paid applied credit for State registration: The extra $100 for this level will be applied directly as a credit to State Conference registration for 2023.
